Just a quickie, I had shared a link on Facebook for the absolutely delicious breakfast. It’s from Gourmande in the Kitchen blog and the picture was so awesome I just had to try it.
This grain free gluten free chocolate breakfast takes a bit of time (over 4 hours) but it’s worth it and you’re just leaving it in the oven and checking up to turn the grains over every now and then until it’s ready.
Alterations: I did make two changes though – where it mentions butter I changed that to coconut oil and used agave syrup in place of the honey.
It’s really tasty and crunchy and I keep eating it as a snack and only got one breakfast out of it! I’m sure it’d be great as a topping over dairy-free yogurt or going for a long walk and the like.
