Two delicious salad dressings here

DINUTRITION

Here are a couple more recipes to complement my first post about making your own salad dressings.

Chili-lime dressing

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

1-2 tbsp liquid honey

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp chili powder

salt and pepper to taste

Shake ingredients together in a bottle, or whisk by hand.  Makes about 1/3 cup of dressing.

Apple spice dressing

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp brown sugar, honey or maple syrup (optional)

1/8 tsp each ground ginger, cinnamon, salt and pepper

pinch of nutmeg

Shake ingredients together in a bottle, or whisk by hand.  Makes about 1/3 cup of dressing.

Try this dressing on: Arugula, chicken, pear and fig salad
