This lip-licking tasty vegan burger from The Vegan Project is a must try.
When making it I swopped the cooked quinoa for equal quantities of gluten-free oats, wholegrain spelt flour and replaced the soya sauce with 1 teaspoon cumin. For dusting I just used spelt flour and from then on followed their instructions. As you’ll see from their recipe by using the quinoa and rice flour instead of spelt this is also a handy burger as a gluten-free option (oh and remembering to use gluten-free oats also).
Once ready I packed it into a white yeast spelt bun with cucumber, my own quickie homemade tomato sauce, topping it off with some red onion. Truly tasty and went well with my spiced rice stuffed pepper.
