More Dairy-free Fun with Christmas Meal Planning

Just as well I began these posts in November as my personal life is constantly butting in and thwarting my efforts.  I tell ya there should be a law against it! Anyway better get this one in, looking at this set of 7 they are a real DIY job. Though, think of it this way, we can wallow on Christmas Day in the joy of knowing we did it ourselves, no? Besides I did make it easy as some of them can be prepared beforehand.  As in “A beautiful mess”  and “City Food Blog” you’re making presents. This is my story and I’m sticking to it.

Loads to do today so much rush, I was at Keelings Apple Orchard nearly two weeks ago and am still trying to finish the draft blog.

Here we go: 7 more dairy-free recipes for Christmas planning

Veggies: Rachel Ray’s Stuffed Squash

Veggies: Spiced Winter Veg by City Food Blog

Mincemeat: A delicious looking Mincemeat from Dublin City Food Blog

Drinks: DIY Vanilla / Raspberry / Coffee Syrup: from “A Beautiful Mess”

Dessert: Vegan Cocoa Cake I’ve tried this from EvinOK and it is delicious.

Dessert: From Real Food for Life Gingerbread Cake

DIY Coconut Cream, Custard, Coconut Cream & More: The Irish Vegan site has a wonderful array of DIY recipes for dairy-free milks, cream and more all on this page.  I”m going to try some of these, especially the coconut cream, Mmmm. Find out more here

Next Week’s Post:
I’ll finish off my Christmas recipe list next week with a few of my own recipes and doing up my final recipe plan for Christmas – yes so organise, don’t you just love it!.
Seriously I haven’t even bought a single present yet.  I’ve started a list, does that count?  Are you one of those truly organised people I’m seeing arms weighed down with bags of Christmas shopping from every shop they’ve passed?  Better get my socks on and get cracking.

7 days to playing Christmas songs in the house….all day.  Just as well my wonderful hubby is not here for most of it, I’d be kicked out I tell ya.  Better get that mincemeat ready!

Any tips, recipes or to just join in the banter feel free to leave them below.  Chat soon, Marian
