Sometimes it’s just the simplest of pleasures

Home soya cappuccino photo by the wayIt didn’t seem right on Wednesday to be sitting at home with laptop working steadily away.  What’s the old saying ‘make hay while the sun shines’.  So off I trotted (well drove) to Greystones.

One of my favourite haunts in Greystones is ‘The Happy Pear’, a wonderful wholefood store and deli.  For the last while they give away free porridge each morning. Now the compote, granola and yoghurt toppings are separately priced but that gives you the option to choose which suits.  Wash that all down with a lovely Soya Cappucino and you’re set up for the day.  I got a lot of work done for those couple of hours sipping my cappuccino.  The Happy Pear are also having a Baking Competition this Sunday so anyone interested can be bring their entrant to their store by on the day for judging.  Should be a lot of fun.

The computer is still giving me problems, yes even after all these weeks. I’ve now resorted to using the mobile stick in the house until the technobods knock their heads together and come up with a solution.

The book is going along nicely, more on that soon.

Finally, Breakfast at Belmont
This weekend we have a few friends around so I’ve decided to do up huge breakfasts for the weekend.  Will have photos over the weekend: scones, granola, breads, smoothies.  Hungry already!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend.
