Green Tea Comfort

Hi, just a quick and zesty green tea I make most mornings.

The Goodies:
1 Green Tea Bag (I usually use the Sencha type)
2 slices of Ginger root
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Agave Syrup to taste (if you prefer a sweeter taste)
Grate a sprinkling of nutmeg on top (optional). 

Place all these goodies into a mug and then fill the mug with boiled water, sip and enjoy.

Variations: For a long sunny day with nowhere to go except the back garden, a good book and my shades then a large jug of this (adjust the quantities upwards) and replace the boiled water with sparkling water and a 1/4 cup of orange liquer (it’s worth tasting and add in more alcohol if you’d prefer).  Then I also add in a few mandarin orange slices and at end of day they are nice to chew with their lovely hint of orange.This is a refreshing drink I find invaluable.  Tony, the wonderful hubby likes it a bit sweeter so I add in honey again to his taste (2-3 tablespoons is usually enough). 
Keep the jug in a cool place and enjoy at your leisure.
